Lawton Fitt is a corporate director. She joined the board of Reuters in 2004. Ms. Fitt served and Lead Independent Director of Thomson Reuters as Secretary (CEO) of the Royal Academy of Arts London from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, she was an investment banker with Goldman Sachs & Co., where she became a partner in 1994 and a managing director in 1996.

She is a trustee or director of several not-for-profit organizations.

Ms. Fitt has a bachelor’s degree from Brown University and an MBA from the University of Virginia.
