Reuters and Barclays Wealth sign global deal for 800 desktops

LONDON – Reuters (LSE: RTR; NASDAQ: RTRSY) and Barclays Wealth have signed a two year global deal that will make Reuters the strategic global vendor of choice for the organisation with a package of 800 desktops.

The package includes access to the premium desktop Reuters 3000 Xtra as well as Reuters Trader, Reuters Wealth Manager and Reuters Knowledge, allowing the right product to be matched to the right user within the organisation. They will be deployed across the main business centres of Barclays Wealth in the UK, Switzerland, Monaco, Singapore and Hong Kong.

Further areas of co-operation are now in discussion between Barclays Wealth and Reuters in line with Reuters stated Core Plus aims of extending its relationship with customers beyond the desktop to complete business solutions.
