Tax Executives Institute Designates Thomson Reuters as Exclusive Affinity Partner for Tax Information and Workflow Solutions
Tax Executives Institute (TEI), a leading organization of more than 7,000 corporate tax professionals, has renewed and expanded its relationship with the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. TEI has designated Thomson Reuters as its exclusive affinity partner for tax information and workflow solutions.
As part of Thomson Reuters, the leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, the Tax & Accounting business provides information, software and services to accounting, tax and corporate finance professionals in accounting firms, corporations, law firms and government.
“Thomson Reuters has demonstrated its ability to provide tax executives with the timely, accurate, authoritative, and cost-effective research, workflow tools, compliance and CPE solutions that are essential to TEI members in serving their companies,” said Vincent Alicandri, TEI International president. “The company’s commitment to addressing the corporate market’s evolving needs remains second to none. In the electronic arena, in particular, Thomson Reuters has established itself as an industry leader with brands like Checkpoint and ONESOURCE.” Alicandri noted that these factors, combined with Thomson Reuters ability to meet TEI members’ needs, contributed to TEI’s decision to extend and expand this 10-year affinity relationship.
The agreement provides TEI members with discounts on selected new products and online courses, enabling TEI members to earn Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits from their desks. Comprehensive information on member benefits is available on the TEI Web site.
“We are committed to supporting TEI’s national and local chapters in growing their membership and meeting the wide range of tax-related needs of those members,” said Tom Krebs, vice president, Industry Relations for Tax & Accounting. “This is a true partnership at all levels, from discussing industry trends and challenges at the national level, to delivering practical and insightful best practices for local chapters.”
Tax & Accounting continues to provide products and solutions to help tax professionals, including TEI members, work more efficiently. Checkpoint is used by more than 85 percent of the Fortune 1000 firms for critical tax and accounting information needs, including federal, state and local, and international tax from the WG&L, RIA and PPC brands. The ONESOURCE brand offers unprecedented choice for the corporate tax professional, with software, managed services and consulting solutions for income tax, provision, planning, property tax, sales and use tax, trust tax, transfer pricing and workflows.
