Tax & Accounting Kicks Off 29th Annual Users' Conference for Accountants and Tax Professionals

Profession's longest-running conference attracts more than 800 key influencers

The Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters announced today the kick-off of the 29th annual Thomson Reuters Users’ Conference for Professional Tax and Accounting Firms – the longest running professional conference of its kind – with more than 800 participants. Attendees will earn more than 13,000 cumulative hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE), and choose from more than 70 workshops that cover hands-on software training, product overviews, and sessions on specialized topics for accountants and tax professionals.

“Over the past three decades, our Users’ Conference has evolved into a mainstay event, attracting accountants and tax professionals from around the country,” said Jon Baron, president of Professional Software & Services for the Tax & Accounting business of Thomson Reuters. “Our primary objective is to help our users be more efficient, to better serve their clients. The workshops offer a wealth of information on product and system functionality, and a vision on how to apply process innovations in their firms to increase efficiencies. Some of the topics covered will be:

The conference also offers popular and informative roundtable discussions as well as dynamic keynote presentations, including:
