Thomson Healthcare Acquires Health Care Data Inc.
Assets Include Clinical Management Tools, Analytics and Reporting Solutions
STAMFORD, Conn., — Thomson Healthcare, a leading provider of trusted healthcare
information and decisions support solutions announced that it has acquired
Health Care Data Inc., a provider of clinical performance-measurement,
analytics and reporting tools.
Health Care Data Inc. is known for working with healthcare providers to collect
and measure clinical and non-clinical outcomes that can be used to fulfill
quality compliance requirements. The acquisition enhances Thomson Healthcare’s
analytics and reporting capabilities, and enables Health Care Data’s customers
— private and federal acute care, long-term care, long-term acute care,
behavioral health facilities, and home care and hospice — to access
the depth of Thomson Healthcare’s services and expertise. Terms of the
acquisition were not disclosed.
