The Healthcare Business of Thomson Reuters Names Senior Vice President of Sales

Ann Arbor, MI  June 27, 2008 – Kerry E. Waltrip will join the Healthcare business of Thomson Reuters as senior vice president of sales for management decision support solutions in the healthcare provider market.

Mr. Waltrip comes to Thomson Reuters from 3M Health Information Systems, Inc., where he has been a leader of the team integrating SoftMed Systems, Inc., a company 3M Health Information Systems acquired in 2006. Prior to the acquisition, Mr. Waltrip was senior vice president of sales and strategy at SoftMed, a leading provider of automated health information systems. Prior to that, he served as vice president of sales at Innovative Health Systems, Inc.

The management decision support group at Thomson Reuters provides information products, consulting services, and applications that help hospitals measure and improve clinical and operational performance and develop effective planning and marketing strategies.

Mr. Waltrip currently resides in Rockville, Md. In his new role, he will work from the Thomson Reuters offices in Evanston, Ill. The Healthcare business of Thomson Reuters is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Mich.
