The Patient Volume databases are derived from large, nationwide patient samples to track activity in various treatment settings. Each database tracks a different setting and typically covers nationwide, ICD-9-specific data. Depending on what database is being used, statistics available may include discharge rates, demographic information, concomitant diagnoses and/or procedures, and drug information. The databases cover over 7,000 ICD-9 codes, and are also searchable by keyword. Samples are available from the search page of each database.

U.S. Patient Volume Database (HIP HOP ER POP) New!
