Thomson Reuters Wireless Delivery System sources data content directly from the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform for Real-time platform. The server interfaces with the platform for real-time data, charts and news content, using Data Access Control System for single exchange fee liability.

To access Thomson Reuters Wireless Delivery System, you will either need to install a lightweight Java application for your BlackBerry device or a similar .Net application for Windows Mobile devices. It is possible to run a combination of both BlackBerry and Windows Mobile applications using the same Thomson Reuters Wireless Delivery System server.

  • BlackBerry Deployment
    The software connects to the Thomson Reuters Wireless Delivery System server via the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). It is the BES that encrypts all data making sure that your content is secure using triple DES encryption.
  • Windows Mobile Deployment
    The Windows Mobile application consists of a CAB file to be installed on the device. Once installed, the application connects to the server over the internet. A reverse proxy (such as an ISA) can be used within your network for added security.

Thomson Reuters Wireless Delivery System has an easy-to-use display interface that can be customized using a web-based portal. Users can create new displays, personalize existing ones and share screens with other users. The interface display allows up to 4 components to be built for each page.
