Thomson Reuters Global Equity Indices are a new line of global market indices. The line of Country & Region Indices and Sector Indices is accessible through Thomson Reuters datafeeds and desktop products including Thomson Reuters Eikon, Reuters 3000 Xtra, Datastream, and Starmine.
All our global equity indices are characterized by a higher level of investability compared to current market indices due to our proprietary screening methodology.
COUNTRY & REGION EQUITY INDICES
Thomson Reuters offers indices for 51 Country Indices, some of which include: Australia, Brazil, Germany, Hong Kong, United Kingdom and the United States; and 26 Region Indices, including: Global, Global ex US, Europe, Asia Pacific and Global Emerging Markets.

SECTOR INDICES
Our sector indices help investors track markets by industry. Tapping our unique and proprietary market-based sector schema – Thomson Reuters Business Classification (TRBC) – our beta indices track 124 industries, 52 industry groups, 25 business sectors and 10 economic sectors on a global and/or regional basis. Our sector indices presently number over 8000 and include notables such as our Renewable Energy indices, and our lines of Utility, Healthcare and Financial indices.
