Biography
Dennis Dunn, Ph.D. was a founding member of The Sachs Group, now a part of Thomson Healthcare, and also one of the authors of the original software for The Market Planner®. He was the chief architect of many of the utilization and prevalence models used in Thomson Healthcare planning and pharmaceutical products.
Prior to joining Thomson Healthcare, Dunn was a faculty member in the statistics departments of Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania. He has published articles in the areas of geographical statistics, women's health, and the use of administrative data in evidence-based medicine.
Dunn received his Ph.D. in statistics and a master’s in sociology, both from the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a bachelor’s degree from Columbia College, New York, in sociology and history.
