Biography

As product specialist for Thomson Healthcare, Rhodes Moxley is primarily responsible for working with the client base to assure value is realized by each user of the clinical content provided by Thomson Healthcare. Moxley is one of the primary architects of Solucient’s “Opportunity and Vulnerability Analysis,” and the 100 Top Hospitals® Clinical Benchmarking Services.

Moxley has more than 20 years of healthcare experience. His previous positions include vice president of California Preferred Providers, an HMO/PPO); president of Strata Systems, a healthcare software development company; Professional Standards Review Organization executive director for Santa Barbara/San Luis Obispo Counties; and senior director of the McGraw-Hill Healthcare Management Group. In addition, Moxley has held an associate professor position for Health Information Systems at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, Calif., and is a frequent guest lecturer at programs conducted by the providers, purchasers, and payers of healthcare.
