You can use keywords to search for cases in Westlaw

When searching for cases, sometimes you may only have a few keywords to start your research.
Enter a plain language search or a Boolean Terms and Connectors search at the top of any page.
For Boolean Terms and Connectors search, you need to use quotations around the phrase, or use connectors between words. For example, "abnormally dangerous activity or reasonable /s person".
As you begin typing your search terms, a drop-down box will populate with suggestions for cases, legal topics, and practical law. When applicable, documents that match your search will appear in a drop-down box below your query.
Select a link in the Cases, Legal Topics, or Practical Law section to jump to that document, or select enter to run your search in all legal content.
