Use TimeKeeper IDs to track usage and charges

You can assign an ID to each Westlaw user with the TimeKeeper ID feature. You can track usage and charges by practice area using TimeKeeper IDs and TimeKeeper groups and assigning each user a practice area.

  • This feature is only available to corporate administrators.
  • The TimeKeeper ID defaults to the numeric portion of a user's Westlaw registration key until your organization changes it.
Do the following to manage TimeKeeper IDs:
  1. Go to the main menu dropdown and select
    Manage TimeKeeper Information
    then select
    Go
    .
  2. Select
    Edit New
    or
    Edit All
    to edit the TimeKeeper IDs or groups.
  3. Select
    Upload
    to upload TimeKeeper IDs from your computer.
  4. Choose
    Download
    or
    Email
    as the delivery method to view TimeKeeper information.
