Error in template: the taxonomy with the namespace could not be found

Scenario

You may get the following error message when you update a client data set to a new template based on UK FRS 102:

Error in template the taxonomy with the namespace http://xbrl.frc.org.uk/secr/2021-01-01/combined/secr-FRS-102-2021-01-01 could not be found.

Cause

The UK FRS 102 version the template is based on contains an iXBRL taxonomy that's not supported by the version of Accounts Production Advanced you're using.

Solution

Update the application to the latest version.
  1. Select
    Help
    , then
    About Digita Accounts Production Advanced
    .
  2. Select the
    General
     tab.
  3. Check which version of Accounts Production Advanced is installed.
  4. View our Digita Suite Releases article to check the latest version and build number of Accounts Production Advanced.
  5. If you don't have the latest version, download and install it from the Product Downloads page.
