Officer details not shown after cessation and reappointment in Accounts Production Advanced

There's a known issue when an officer's appointment has ceased if they later re-join as an officer. The officer's details are not shown correctly in Accounts Production Advanced. Until our developers rectify this issue, you can choose from the following three workarounds to show the officer's details correctly.
  1. Workaround 1
  2. Unlink and re-enter the officer's details.
    1. Open the client in Accounts Production Advanced.
    2. Select
      Integration
      , then
      Unlink
      .
    3. Select the
      Summary
      tab, then
      Officers
      .
    4. Enter the details of the officer's second appointment.
  3. Workaround 2
  4. Delete the original appointment in Practice Management.
    1. Sign in to Practice Management as a user with Administrator rights.
    2. Open the company and select the
      Contacts
      tab.
    3. Select the original appointment of the director, then
      Delete
      .
      This leaves only the latest appointment of the officer.
    4. Select
      Save and Close
      .
      When you open Accounts Production Advanced it will show one record for the officer with the most recent appointment date.
  5. Workaround 3
  6. Make a duplicate record.
    1. Open Practice Management.
    2. Create a new Person record with the same name as the officer with the issue.
    3. Open the company and delete one of the officer's records as described in Workaround 2.
    4. Use the
      Contacts
      tab to add a new officer.
    5. Open the second record you've created and enter the appointment date, cessation date, and cessation reason (if any) to match the deleted record.
    6. Save and close the company in Practice Management.
    7. Open the company in Accounts Production Advanced.
