Schema ref error for FRS 102 created in Accounts Production Advanced and filed with Company Secretarial

Scenario

After preparing FRS 102 accounts in Accounts Production Advanced you try to file them with Company Secretarial, but get a Schema ref error message.

Solution

  1. In Accounts Production Advanced, select the
    Summary
    tab.
  2. Under the Client Details heading, select the
    General
    link.
  3. In the Financial statements to be filed with section, make sure that
    Companies House
    is selected.
    note
    If you do not see
    Companies House
    as an option, contact Customer Support and ask to be moved onto the latest version of FRS 102, which will include this option.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
  5. Export and and re-file the accounts with Company Secretarial.
  6. Return to Accounts Production Advanced and open the report you are trying to file.
  7. Select the
    Report Structure
    tab.
  8. If the folder at the top is in bold formatting, right-click it, then select
    Revert to Template
    . If you cannot select
    Revert to Template
    , sign off and sign in again as Administrator and try steps 6 to 9 again.
  9. If the folder at the top is not in bold, it may be because it's in your Master client, in which case it would affect all FRS 102 clients. If this is the case, take the following steps:
    1. Select the Template Entities tab to open your FRS 102 Master client.
    2. Enter
      DoNotDelect
      if you're asked to enter a password.
    3. Open a report, such as FRS 102 Micro Entities.
    4. Select the
      Report Structure
      tab.
    5. If the top folder is in bold, right-click it and select
      Revert to Template
      .
    6. Repeat steps

      for the FRS 102 Section 1A and FRS 102 Financial Statements reports.
