Signatory names missing from unincorporated charity accounts in Accounts Production Advanced

Scenario

After you enter the finalisation dates, you may find that officers signing the Trustees report and the Balance sheet disappear from the report signatory sections.

Solution

  1. Run the report.
  2. Select the
    Report Structure
    tab.
  3. Select the top folder,
    Charity accounts
    .
  4. Right-click the folder and select
    Properties
    from the context menu.
  5. Select the
    Variables
    tab.
  6. Select the
    ReportApproval
    row.
  7. Select
    Edit
    .
  8. Select the
    Expression
    ellipsis button.
  9. Highlight and delete all of the data in the
    Options Expression
    box.
  10. Download our report-approval.txt file.
  11. Copy all the text in the
    report-approval.txt
    file and paste into the
    Options Expression
    box.
  12. Select
    OK
    .
  13. Select the
    BalanceSheetApproval
    row, then
    Edit
    .
  14. Select the
    Edit Expression
    ellipsis button.
  15. Highlight and delete all of the data.
  16. Download our balance-sheet-approval.txt file.
  17. Copy all the text in the
    balance-sheet-approval.txt
    file and paste into the
    Options Expression
    box.
  18. Select
    OK
    and again until the report is shown.
