If you've found two duplicated clients in Practice Management, you will need to break the integration link to one of them.
  1. Open Practice Management, right-click on one of the duplicated clients and select
    Delete.
    note
When you view a list of clients in Practice Management it will not be clear which application (Accounts Production Advanced or Personal Tax) the duplicated client is linked to.To establish this, you need to open the client in Accounts Production Advanced or Personal Tax, view the client details and select the
    Edit
button to open Practice Management. Now make a note of the client client, close both applications and reopen Practice Management to locate the client by matching the code.

    button, then
    Share Clients
    .
  3. Follow the steps in the Share Clients Wizard. When you reach the Resolve Potential Matches dialog box, select the appropriate check boxes to match the client details (instead of creating a new client in Practice Management).

Integration of sole trade clients

  2. Select the blue
    General
    link.
  3. In the General dialog box, select the
    Edit
    button.
  4. Practice Management opens and displays the sole trade's record. Select the
    proprietor's name link.
  5. Check the
    Code
in the proprietor's details to verify that this client record is the same as the record linked to from Personal Tax.
