Set up electronic filing in Company Secretarial

You can also follow these steps in our Set up electronic filing in Company Secretarial video.
  1. Open Company Secretarial.
  2. If Company Secretarial asks you to log in as the Administrator:
    1. Select
      Yes
      to create a user profile.
    2. Enter your full name.
    3. .Assign the appropriate role to the user (standard users won't be able to perform certain functions in the software).
    4. Mark the
      Enable electronic filing
      checkbox.
    5. Select
      OK.
      You'll be prompted to log in as that user.
  3. Once you've have logged in as a user, you'll be able to set up the company for electronic filing.
  4. Select
    Tools
    then
    Manage Presenter Details
    .
  5. Select the
    Companies House
    tab within
    Manage Presenter Details
    .
  6. Select the
    Electronic Filing
    ellipsis button.
  7. Enter your Presenter details.
  8. On the
    Preferences
    tab, select which automated processes you would like to run when your prepare a form to be filed online, then select
    OK
    .
  9. Next set up each company for electronic filing.
  10. Open each company that you will file online for, and select the
    Other
    tab.
  11. Select the
    Electronic filing
    ellipsis button and enter the Company Authentication Code.
  12. Set
    E-Filing enabled
    to
    True
    and select whether or not the company has opted in to the Protective Online Filing Scheme.
  13. Select
    Save
    .
