Import accounts in a CSV file

To import a CSV file containing accounts, you'll need to map each row of the file to a corresponding row in Corporation Tax.
  1. Format the CSV file
  2. Check that the CSV file has the correct columns.
  3. Import accounts data
  4. When you're ready to import, select
    Map data from CSV file
    and import.
  5. In the
    Data Import
    wizard, select
    Base file
    and choose the CSV file.
  6. Select each row from the CSV in turn, then the ellipsis button for the corresponding row in Corporation Tax.
  7. In the
    Map to
    window, expand the items to find the corresponding row, then select
    Apply to item
    .
    Import Wizard. Shows the 1st row from the Map from pane selected and the Purchase of raw materials and consumables selected from the Map to pane.
  8. When you've mapped all the rows from the spreadsheet, select
    Next
    .
  9. Choose whether you want to save your mapping to use again.
  10. Select
    Finish
    .
You can now go to the
Accounts
dropdown list to view your imported accounts.
