Error: VC Runtime is required when installing or updating Digita Suite
Scenario
You may get the following error message when you install or update a Digita application.
Error message
VC 20[XX] Runtime is required. Setup will now terminate.

For information about Visual Studio and the Visual C++ Redistributable that installs Microsoft C and C++ (MSVC) Runtime libraries, refer to Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable latest supported downloads on Microsoft's website.
Cause
The Digita installer is trying to install Runtime but is unable to.
Solution

We recommend that a competent IT person installs and updates the Digita Suite applications.
- Check that you've followed the guidelines in the Digita Professional Suite Network and Standalone Installation Guide.
- Go to theUpdatesfolder.note
- For Workstation Node installs, go to the server applicationNodeinsfolder, then open theUpdatesfolder.
- For Standalone/Network Installs, go to theUpdatesfolder in the install download.
- In eachVS20XX_x86folder:
- Runvc_redistx86.exe.
- Repair or install as directed.
