Site Homepages

Overview

The Site Homepages allows you to create a customisable home page for user navigation. Using the dashboard builder, you can design a responsive home page layout with a simple point-and-click interface. Users with specific access permissions to a site can view the corresponding dashboards within that site. With the dashboard builder, you can quickly and easily build page layouts with multiple rows and columns without complicated tables or code.
With the release of version 5.9.0, we have refreshed font styles and avatars for a modern aesthetic and a more visually appealing user experience.

Custom Pages and Site Homepages
The September 2024 release introduces custom pages, providing an alternative to the existing site homepages. These custom pages offer benefits such as pagination, improved flexibility in organizing group contacts, and a customizable sort order in the People panel.
Here are some benefits of combining site homepages and custom pages:
  • Custom Pages and Site Homepages are both components of the home module and can be used interchangeably by clients within Sites.
  • Only one default dashboard can be created for the entire site. For example, if there are 10 Site Homepages and 5 Custom Pages, only one of these can be designated as the default. If a new Custom Page is selected as the default homepage, it will replace the current default Site Homepage.
  • A Custom Page can be set as the default for one user group, while a Site Homepage can be set as the default for another user group. This flexibility allows each group to have a dashboard that meets their specific functional needs.
Custom Pages and Site Homepages can be used interchangeably by clients within Sites for default dashboards.
