Add content to your Favourites

Users can mark all types of site content as a
Favourite
, including files, folders, wiki pages, blog posts, individual tasks and a list of tasks, events and iSheet views. Your favourites can be accessed from the
Favourites
menu on the right-hand side of the Top Navigation Bar.

Adding and Removing Favourites

Here is an example of how to create a favourite - using Sites as an example. From the
Recent
tab, view your list of accessible sites:
  • To mark a Site as a favourite, click the star icon. The star will change to yellow
  • An item that is marked with the yellow star icon is already a favourite. To remove an item from the favourites, click on the yellow star icon.

Accessing Favourites

Collaborate makes it easy to tag almost any piece of content as a favourite, but this capability is only useful if those favourites can be quickly accessed later. To access your favourites, select
Favourites
located on the far right of the
Top Navigation Bar

In the menu, users can view their favourites or their recently viewed content via the two tabs available.
The type of content that has been favourited is indicated by a content icon to the left. This includes different types of files (PDF files, Word documents, etc.) and different types of Collaborate content (wiki pages, blog posts, tasks, events, etc.).
A quick way to filter a list of favourites is to enter text into
Search
field. Using the same autosuggest feature found throughout the platform, any favourites with a title that matches the characters entered will be displayed:

View All Favourites

Only up to nine favourites will be shown in the popup list from the Top Navigation Bar. To view all favourites, select
See all favourites

Users can search and filter this list to find their content quicker.

Favourites on a Smartphone

To access a user's list of favourites from a smartphone, click on the menu icon to reveal the menu options and then select
My Favourites
