Image management

The image library is a central repository which is accessible by system administrators through the
Content hub
. To access it, navigate to
Admin
>
Content hub
:
The
Content hub
is displayed. Within the
Content hub
, navigate to
Resources
>
Images
:
The
Images library
screen is displayed.
Adding images to the image library
There are two ways to add images to the image library. Either via
Add images
or
Bulk upload

Add images

The add images functionality enables you to upload single or multiple files from your device. Select
Add images
:
To display the
Add images
screen:
Select
Browse
and select the files you want to upload. The files will then be virus scanned and uploaded one by one.
During this process you are able to rename the file
Once you are finished, select
Close
. The files will now be available within the
Image library
.

Bulk upload

The bulk upload process enables you to upload a collection of files which have been stored within a zip file. Select
Bulk upload

To display the
Bulk upload images
screen:
Select
Browse
and select the files required. The files are then virus scanned and uploaded one by one. Once these files have been uploaded, select
Close
.
More actions for images
There are a number of additional features and functions that are available to each or multiples of images:
  1. Active
    - Once you have selected the images you can then bulk activate all the selected images.
  2. Archive
    - Once you have selected the images you can then bulk archive all the selected images
  3. Delete
    - Once you have selected the images you can then bulk delete all the selected images.
  4. Edit
    details
    - You are able edit the following:
    • Change the image title
    • Set the status
    • Download the original image
    • Replace the file with another image
    • Add the Alt text for accessibility and SEO purposes
  5. Copy
    image
    link
    - Enables you to copy the url link for the image
  6. Preview
    - Opens a preview modal window with a preview of the image and shows the image metadata
  7. Delete
    - Removes the file from the system
