About Folders
Manage Folders
Learn how to organise the contents of your research folders.
Go to
Folders
from the top menu bar.
Select a folder to view a list of its contents.
note
In the list of the folder's contents, the
Date Added
is the date the content was added to the folder.
You can select
Add note
under the folder title and under each content item to enter information about the folder or item.
note
Your note in can be up to 250 characters. If you need to enter more details about a content item, open it, and add an annotation.
To move or copy a content item to another folder, use drag and drop.
note
Mark the checkboxes for multiple content items to drag and drop them together.
Select a folder and use
Options
to
Move
,
Copy
, and
Rename
it.
To remove content items from a folder, mark the checkboxes for the items, then select
Delete
.
Practical Law moves the items to the
Trash
folder.
To delete a folder, select the folder,
Options
, then
Delete
.
Practical Law deletes the folder and moves its contents to the
Trash
folder.
If you want to move items back to your folders after deleting them, go to
Trash
and use
Save to Folder
.
To download content items within a folder, select the folder, mark the checkboxes of the items, then select
Download
.
To download a list of folder contents or all the content items within it, use
Options
, then
Export
.
