Processing data for payroll consolidation groups

For clients that are in consolidation groups, the application displays consolidation information at the top of the Payroll Taxes tab on the Clients screen. It shows the name of the consolidation group and specifies whether the client is the primary or a secondary client in the group.

Process payroll tax forms

  1. Select Actions, then Process Payroll Tax Forms.
  2. Mark the checkbox for the primary client in the Form Selection grid.
  3. Select Process Selected.

Process impound tax payments

Before you begin, verify the following:
  • The
    Group impound tax payments
    checkbox is marked on the Payroll Consolidation Groups screen.
  • All clients in the group have the same deposit and withdrawal accounts in the Impound tab of the Clients screen.
  1. Select
    Actions
    , then
    Manage Impound Payments
    .
  2. Mark the checkboxes for the tax liabilities to pay.
  3. Select
    Pay Selected
    .
