Turn off remote payroll services

Disable client access

The following steps prevent your client from accessing the Accounting CS Client View application. If you want to prevent your client from accessing a certain area of the application, change the security group for the client in the
Client Security Groups
screen.
  1. Go to
    Setup
    , select
    Clients
    , then select the
    Main
    tab.
  2. In the
    Services
    section, select Ellipsis - opens the menu
  3. Clear the
    Enable Client Access
    checkbox.
  4. Mark the checkboxes you want in the Services section.
  5. Select
    OK
    then
    Enter
    to save your changes.

Disable Remote check printing

  1. Go to
    Setup
    , select
    Clients
    , then select the
    Payroll Information
    tab.
  2. In the
    Default Check Output
    section, select
    Paper checks/stubs
    .
  3. Select
    Enter
    to save your changes.
  4. Sign in to your NetStaff CS portal, then select the
    Admin
    tab.
  5. Select
    Users
    in the
    NetClient CS
    section, then select the client name in the list.
  6. Select
    Disable
    in the
    Remote Payroll & Check Printing (ACS)
    section.

Disable Remote payroll services (including employee self-service)

  1. Go to
    Setup
    , select
    Clients
    , then select the
    Payroll Information
    tab.
  2. (Optional) Clear the
    Employee Self-Service
    checkbox in the Employee Data Integration section.
  3. Select Ellipsis - opens the menu in the
    Payroll Schedules
    section.
  4. Edit the payroll schedule that's currently being completed by the client in the portal.
  5. In the
    Time Entry Method
    section, change the selection to
    Manual
    , or an import method other than
    Remote payroll entry
    .
  6. (Optional) Clear the
    Enable Employee Time Entry
    checkbox.
  7. Select
    Enter
    to save your changes, then
    Done
    to close the window.
  8. Select
    Enter
    to save your changes to the client.
  9. Sign in to your NetStaff CS portal, then select the
    Admin
    tab.
  10. Select
    Users
    in the NetClient CS section, then select a client name in the list.
  11. Select
    Disable
    in the
    Remote Payroll & Check Printing (ACS)
    section.
