Version 2023.2.1 release notes

We released version 2023.2.1 on July 20, 2023 with the following changes.

General

We updated all help links and references within the application to go to Help and Support in preparation for the retirement of the Help & How-To Center. We also changed all references of "User Bulletins" to say "Release Notes".

Accounts Receivable

  • In the Enter Invoices screen, we fixed an error that occurred when saving an invoice after making certain changes.
  • We addressed an issue that caused voided customer payments to be applied to invoices when using automatic applications.

Workpapers CS

We addressed an issue that prevented the Workpapers CS printer from working properly.

Report Designer

We added the Period Begin Date variable to the
System

Financial Statement
 and
System
,
Report
 sections of the variable tree.

Payroll compliance

  • We addressed an issue that caused an error to occur when creating files in the Process New Hires screens.
  • New York locals. The New York Department of Taxation and Finance has updated the Metropolitan Commuter Transportation Mobility Tax (MCTMT) effective July 1, 2023. Therefore, we added the additional rate of 0.60% to the list of rates available in the Calculate MCTMT tax on check at field in the Local window for New York on the Payroll Taxes tab of the Clients screen.
