Customize a report profile for a client

You can customize a firm report profile for an individual client so you don't need to print the profile separately for each client or make the same option selections every time you run the report profile. Do the following to customize a report profile for a specific client:

  • When you customize a report profile for a specific client, the application doesn't change the existing firm-level report profile.
  • Firm report profiles are available for all clients. The options you select on the report profile are saved and applied when the profile is run for specific clients.
  1. Select
    Setup
    then
    Report Profiles
    .
  2. Select the client from the dropdown in the upper-right corner of the
    Report Profiles
    screen.
  3. Select
    Add
    then select an existing client-type report profile from the
    Firm profile
    dropdown.
  4. Select ellipsis next to
    Selections
    .
  5. In the
    Report Selections
    window, select or remove reports for the current profile.
  6. In the
    Report Profiles
    screen, choose the options you want for each report.
  7. Select
    Enter
    to save any changes made to the client-specific profile.
    note
    • You can customize only client-type report profiles for a specific client. Firm-type report profiles aren't available for selection in the
      Report Profiles
      screen.
    • If you need to, you can select
      Delete
      to remove a customized profile for a specific client.
    • You can select
      Preview
      to view all the reports in the profile. In the
      Print Preview
      screen, select the reports one at a time from the dropdown.
