Accounting CS Client Access

With Accounting CS Client Access, you can offer your clients customized, controlled, 24/7 access to Accounting CS from secure NetClient CS portals on your website. Authorized staff in your client's office can record their day-to-day accounting and payroll transactions, while you maintain control over the options and information they don't.
The database that your client's staff members use to enter data is that same as your firm's, meaning you don't have to export and import data between different applications. However, sharing a common database means you must be in a hosted environment. You can use our Virtual Office CS/Software as a Service or your own hosted environment.

  • If you have a Virtual Office CS/Software as a Service license, you'll need to enable Client Access.
  • If you use your own hosted environment, you must meet higher system requirements and your IT professional must do additional setup.
Accounting CS also has comprehensive security defaults so your clients can't see any of your other clients' data or your firm's data. In addition, there are features that only allow your firm to handle tasks that are considered the accountant's role or responsibility. Even if a client's staff security group has been set up with full privileges, there are certain screens and functions that are not available in Accounting CS Client Access as they are a function of the professional accountant.
