Enter addresses in all capital letters

Some businesses prefer addresses in all capital letters. Address verification in Accounting CS helps ensure accuracy and proper tax calculations. Sometimes, the system changes addresses entered in all capital letters to mixed case during verification.
Follow these steps to keep addresses in all capital letters while still benefiting from address verification for tax purposes.

Enter the address

  1. Enter the address in all capital letters.
  2. Verify the address by using TAB after entering the city and state.
  3. When
    Address Difference Found
    displays, select
Use the suggested address to determine applicable taxes only
    .
  4. Select
    OK
. The address (except county) stays in all capital letters.

If the
Address Difference Found
message doesn't appear

This happens when the address isn't specific enough. Try this solution:
  1. Use a nearby address in the same tax area that will verify correctly.
  2. Remove words like
    Street
    or
    Boulevard
    .
  3. Try verification again.
  4. When
    Address Difference Found
    displays, select
Use the suggested address to determine applicable taxes only
    .
  5. Select
    OK
    .
  6. Enter the correct street address in all capital letters.
  7. Don't re-verify the address.
Example
  1. Enter
124 AZTEC BOWL, SAN DIEGO, CA
    .
  2. If it doesn't verify, try the nearby address
    6115 MONTEZUMA, SAN DIEGO, CA
    (leaving out
    ROAD
    ).
  3. When prompted, select
Use suggested address for taxes only
    .
  4. Select
    Edit
and change the address back to
    124 AZTEC BOWL
    .
  5. Save without re-verifying.
