View client's previous EIN history

For clients using XactPay files, The Hartford requires that payroll files (XactPAY files) include any changes that have been made in client Employer Identification number (EIN). When the EIN is changed in the
Clients
screen, that information is stored in the
Previous EIN History
window.
  1. Select
    Setup
    then
    Clients
    .
  2. In the
    Main
    tab, select the ellipsis next to the
    EIN/SSN
    field.
Review the following in the Previous EIN History grid:
  • Date:
    The date that the EIN was updated.
  • Previous SSN:
    The prior EIN that was entered for the employee.
  • Transmitted:
    If this change of information has already been sent to The Hartford in a payroll file, this checkbox is marked.
