Database file status

In the database section of CoCounsel, you can view the readiness of database files to use in skills by viewing the
Status
column.
You can access the Status column 2 ways:
  1. Go to the sidebar then select the
    Databases
    tab.
  2. Select a database or files from a database before a skill run.
Status: Complete
If a database and its files have a status of
Complete
, this means that the files are ready to be used in a skill.
The status is shown at the database level.
The status can also be shown at the file level in a database by going to the sidebar >
Databases
tab > Select your database.
Status: Partially Completed
If a database has a status of
Complete (x out of x failed)
, this means that specific files errored while processing, but the other files are ready to use in a CoCounsel skill.
By selecting the database, you can view the specific files that failed at a granular level. Common reasons for errored files are: password-protected files, large files, or other processing reasons.
Status: Processing
If a database has a status of
Processing (x files remaining)
, this means that your database is still processing. If you attempt to select the database for searching in the
Search a Database
skill, a yellow notification banner will appear at the top of the database modal.
While you can select files to run in the
Review Documents
,
Summarize
,
Compare Documents
,
Timeline
,
Deposition Preparation
skills, you will need to wait for the database to be in the
Complete
or partially
Complete (x out of x failed)
states to execute a
Search a Database
run.
