Roll forward an engagement

When you roll forward an engagement, Engagement Manager creates a new engagement in the next reporting period with the same folder structure and account numbers.
If you have the permissions, follow these steps to roll forward an engagement.
  1. In Engagement Manager, open the engagement you want to roll forward and select
    Administration
    , then
    Roll Forward
    .
  2. On the
    Engagement Information
    screen, you can edit the engagement name and type, assign staff and PIC, and edit tax information.
  3. Select
    Next
    .
  4. Choose the number of prior years you want to include for reporting periods and select
    Next
    .
  5. Select an
    Ending
    date, then
    Next
    .
  6. Mark the checkboxes if you want to
    Clear tickmarks
    or
    Clear workpaper reference
    in the rolled forward engagement.
  7. Select
    Next
    .
  8. Mark the checkboxes and edit the properties of any workpapers you want to change. Select
    Next
    when you're finished.
  9. Select
    Done
    to finish and roll forward the engagement.
