Add a placeholder for a future workpaper

Follow these steps to add a placeholder for a future workpaper in Engagement Manager.
  1. In Engagement Manager, select the engagement, then the
    Workpapers
    tab.
  2. Select the folder you want to add the placeholder to, then Add
    Add
    and
    Workpaper
    .
  3. Select
    Placeholder
    from the
    Source
    dropdown, then
    Next
    .
  4. Enter a placeholder text then select
    Next
    .
  5. Add the following Workpaper Properties:
    1. Enter a
      Reference
      .
    2. Enter a
      Description
      .
    3. Select a user from the
      User Assignment
      dropdown.
    4. Select an option from the
      Roll Forward
      dropdown to include or exclude the workpaper from the roll forward process.
    5. Select an option from the
      During Finalize
      dropdown to retain or delete the workpaper during the finalize process.
  6. Select
    Done
    .
The placeholder appears in the Workpapers tab with Workpaper placeholder. You can replace the placeholder with a workpaper at any time.
