Switch between Adobe Acrobat and the in-application PDF editor

To switch between editing in Adobe Acrobat and the in-application PDF editor, follow these steps:
  1. Select the user profile button.
  2. Select
    Preferences
    .
  3. Go to the
    PDF Options
    tab.
  4. Mark the
    Edit PDF documents directly in Engagement Manager
    .

Edit PDFs in the browser

With the checkbox marked, you can now use one of the following methods to open the document for editing:
  • Select the
    Edit
    button in the actions column.
  • Select
    Manage
    , then
    Edit
    .
  • Right-click and select
    Edit
    .
  • Double-click to open the document for editing.
The PDF file will open in another browser window, and additional PDF editing tools will be available:
  • Annotate
    Lets you underline, highlight, add text, or comment on the PDF.
  • Shapes
    Lets you draw rectangles, arrows, lines, or circles among other options.
  • Insert
    Includes tools for adding stamps, signatures, pictures, or other file attachments.
  • Edit
    Lets you crop or snip a part of the document.
  • Fill and Sign
    Provides various tools for filling out checklists, including stamps, free text, signatures, checkmarks, and dates.
  • Forms
    Lets you create form fields in your PDF to be filled out by others.
  • Panel
    button
    Using the
    Panel
    button, you can rotate or delete pages. Using the more options ellipses, you can also insert, replace, extract, or reorder pages by dragging and dropping.

Save your changes

It's important that you select
Save
before closing the browser window. If you don’t select
Save
, the changes will be lost.
