Install

Server installation instructions

Download the Accounting CS installer to your server, and open it to start the installation.
Download the Workpapers CS installer to your server, and open it to start the installation.
  1. Go to the folder you saved the installer to.
  2. Run
    accountingcsdownload.exe
    .
  3. Run
    workpaperscsdownload.exe
    .
  4. Pay attention to the
    Destination Folder
    . If you need to restart the installation or restart the server.
  5. Select
    Extract
    .
  6. Select
    Yes
     if you're warned about replacing existing files.
The
Accounting CS
Workpapers CS
 setup opens after you run the downloader. If you need to open the installation manually or restart the installation, go to the folder from the
Destination Folder
 step and select
Setup.exe
.
  1. Select
    Install Accounting CS
    .
  2. Select
    Install Workpapers CS
  3. Answer the question during setup, then review the license agreement.
  4. If you agree to the license agreement, mark the checkbox to accept the terms.
  5. You may be asked to restart your computer. You can ignore the prompt, but you should restart your computer if it comes back.
  6. Select the location of your
    Accounting CS
    Workpapers CS
     shared files.
  7. Install SQL Express and name your instance.
    1. You can use another version of SQL Express or SQL Server. Work with your IT professional to set up the details.
  8. Select
    Install Accounting CS
    .
    We recommend installing Accounting CS on the server to help with troubleshooting.
  9. Select
    Install Workpapers CS
    .
    We recommend installing Workpapers CS on the server to help with troubleshooting.
  10. Select
    Next
     to install components on your computer.
  11. Mark the
    Run Accounting CS
     checkbox to open the application and select
    Finish
    .
  12. Mark the
    Run Workpapers CS
     checkbox to open the application and select
    Finish
    .
Install the application on other network computers after you're finished with the server.
