Assets placed in service dialog
Use this dialog to enter the specific dates ranges for which the selected state follows section 168(k) and 1400L.
To open this dialog, choose Setup and then State Calculations, mark the
Assets placed in service
checkbox, and then select the Dates button. To access the Assets placed in service checkbox you may first have to unmark either the "Never" or "State treatment is not applicable" checkbox.Fields & buttons
Date ranges
Use the first set of date range fields to indicate the time period during which the current state allows bonus depreciation.
Use the second set of date range fields if the state did not allow bonus depreciation for a period of time, but then allowed it again later. Enter the second time period during which the state allowed bonus depreciation in this second set of fields.
