To add, edit, copy, or delete a custom report, choose Setup and then Custom Reports. Use the Custom Report Layout dialog to define or modify the report name, the categories and columns to be included in the report, the column order, and the font size.
To access the Custom Report Layout dialog, perform one of the following steps.
The Custom Report Layout dialog opens automatically when you add a new report.
Highlight an existing report in the Custom Report dialog and then select the Layout button.
Special buttons on this dialog take you to additional dialogs where you can define column properties (width and subtotaling), add a new column based on user-defined calculations, or add a new column to include amounts from a specific treatment.
The Report Preview pane at the bottom of this dialog immediately reflects any changes you make to a report (adding or subtracting columns, increasing or decreasing the width of a column, or increasing or decreasing the font size).

You may edit the width of any non-numeric column in a custom report. Highlight the column name in the Custom Report Layout dialog and then select the Properties button.
Fields & buttons
Layout name
Displays the name of the selected custom report. You can use this field to edit the name of the report.
Select category
Open the drop-down list for this field (by pressing F4 or by selecting the arrow to the right of this field) and select a category or treatment. All of the fields associated with the selected treatment are then displayed.

The T1, T2, and T3 treatment variable categories enable you to include values from custom treatments in the custom report.
You may use this field repeatedly if you want to display and select fields iteratively from multiple categories or treatments.
Fields available for selection
Displays the fields associated with the currently selected category or treatment.

Columns in layout
Displays the columns selected for this custom report, in the order in which they appear in the custom report.
To add a column to this custom report, double-click a field in the Fields available for selection pane (at left).
To remove a column from this custom report, double-click the column name.
To change the order of columns that appear in this custom report, choose a column name and then select the Move Up or Move Down button to move it to the desired position.
Move Up button
Select this button to change the position of the highlighted column, moving it one position to the left in this custom report.
Move Down button
Select this button to change the position of the highlighted column, moving it one position to the right in this custom report.
Properties button
Select this button to open the Column Properties dialog in which you can specify options for the current column.
If the column is
numeric
, use the Column Properties dialog to indicate whether the report should include subtotals and a grand total for the selected column.

The width of any numeric field is fixed and cannot be changed.
If the column is
non-numeric
, use the Column Properties dialog to adjust the width of the current column.
If the column is for a
custom association
, use the Column Properties dialog to adjust the width of the current column and indicate whether the report should include subtotals and a grand total for the selected column.
Add Calculated Column button
Select this button to open the Calculated Column dialog in which you can define a new column for the report using customized calculations.
Font size
This shows the selected font size (8 - 12 pt) for all of the columns on this custom report. To change the font size, enter a different number or select the arrows to increase or decrease the number. Any change you make is immediately reflected in the Report Preview pane.
Page orientation (portrait, landscape, or export)
This shows the current page orientation for the selected report, which automatically shifts from portrait to landscape to export as necessary when you make changes that affect the report layout width.

When the width of the report layout exceeds what is able to print landscape, you will receive a message stating that the report is available only through the Utilities and then Export Asset Data dialog.
Report Preview pane
This shows how the selected report will look when printed. Any changes you make to the current report layout are immediately reflected in this preview pane.
