System Configuration > FileCabinet CS tab

Use the FileCabinet CS tab of the System Configuration window to configure options related to the backup of client data into FileCabinet CS. The automatic backup of client data into FileCabinet CS is enabled by default. You can change this default or customize the settings using the fields on this tab.
To open this tab, select Setup, then System Configuration, then the FileCabinet CS tab.

Fields & buttons

Mark this to create an empty Fixed Assets CS folder in FileCabinet CS (if licensed) whenever you add a new client. The new folder is created in the FileCabinet CS data location that is associated with the Fixed Assets CS data location to which you add Fixed Assets CS clients. To set up Fixed Assets CS and FileCabinet CS data locations, select Setup, then System Configuration, then Data Locations.
Automatic Backup group box
Mark this to have Fixed Assets CS automatically back up your clients' data to FileCabinet CS whenever a client's data is closed (including closing to a new year) in Fixed Assets CS.
Use this field to determine the maximum number of backups to retain for each client's current-year data.
Mark this to retain only the last backup of a client's data from each day. The data is backed up whenever when you close a client (including closing to a new year) in Fixed Assets CS.
Mark this if you want to enter a comment for each backup of a client's data.
If you mark, Fixed Assets CS opens the Backup Client window each time you close a client (including closing to a new year). The comment you enter in this window appears in the Comment column in FileCabinet CS.
Use this field to determine the maximum number of backups to retain for each client's prior fiscal year data.
