Client Listings > Select Clients for Report window

Use this window to select the clients you want to include in the Client Listing Report, Status Summary Report, or Client Status History Report.
To open this window, select Continue in the Utilities, then Client Listings window.

Fields & buttons

All clients who meet the criteria designated in the Focus client listing group box at the bottom of this window are listed here. Highlight the clients you want to include in the selected report and select the Select button to move them over to the Clients to print pane on the right.

If you want, you can limit the clients that are available for selection in this window. Clear the checkbox for each type of client that you don’t want to include in the list.
Select a month from the dropdown list to limit the selection list to clients whose fiscal year ends in a specific month.
Select an option from the dropdown list to limit the client listing to clients who need to be backed up or to specify the depreciation period end date.
Enter the date range in these fields to limit the client listing to clients who have a depreciation period ending within the specified range.
Select this button to switch between the most recent custom focus selection and the default selection for the current window.
This field displays the selected status event by which the client list is focused and the sorting criteria for that event. To change the client status event or sorting criteria, select the Modify button.
Select this button to open the Modify Event Focus window to change the client status event or sorting criteria in the
Event
field.
Displays the selected report in the Print Preview window.
In the Print Preview window, you can perform the following tasks.
  • Scroll up or down to view the current page.
  • Print the current page.
  • Print the selected report.
  • Close the Print Preview window without printing.
Select this button to print the report to your default printer.
Select this button to open the Save As window, which you can use to specify the location where you want to store the report in .DIF, .XLS, or .XLSX format. (.DIF files are compatible with Microsoft Excel.)
Select this button to store the selected report in FileCabinet CS / File Drawer.
