Import Field Map window

Mapping columns establishes a link between the spreadsheet columns and the Fixed Assets CS data. Use the Import Field Map window to create or update the column mappings, to edit spreadsheet data before importing it, and to prevent data from specific rows in the spreadsheet from being imported.
To open this window, select Next in the Import Spreadsheet window.

Fields & buttons

This read-only field contains the path to the spreadsheet from which you are importing data.
This field contains the name of the import field map. You can use this field to edit the name of the import map.
The data from the Excel spreadsheet appears in this grid. Use the Map Field buttons to map the columns to the fields in Fixed Assets CS. Use the
Omit Row
checkboxes to exclude the data from the import.
Use these buttons to go through the columns in the Data to import grid.
There is a Map Field button for each column in the Data to import grid. Select Map Field to open the Map field window, where you can map the selected column to Fixed Assets CS.

checkbox appears to the left of each row in the Data to import grid. Mark the checkbox that corresponds to any row that should be excluded from the import.
Select Verify Data to run the data verification process, which determines whether the data is valid for import.
Select Import to begin the Import process.
Select Suspend to save the information you have entered in the Import Field Map window without completing the import process.
