Asset Labels window

Use the Asset Labels window to select the assets you want to print on your asset labels. Asset labels can be attached to assets for identification purposes when performing tasks such as fixed asset inventories or when disposing of assets.
To open this window, select
Utilities
then
Asset Labels
.
To open this window from within the Fixed Assets Inventory module, select
Inventory
then
Asset Labels
.

Fields & buttons

Lists all assets that are available for selection.
  • Activity:
    Select an activity from the dropdown at the top of the window.
  • Focus:
    Use the fields in the
    Focus
    group box at the bottom of this window to customize the asset list according to any association that maintains a list (that is, Group, Type, Location, Division, and any custom association that maintains a list).
You can change the columns displayed using the checkboxes in the
Focus
group box.

To display only the assets contained in a specific activity folder, select the activity from the dropdown.
If you want all assets in all activities available for selection, select
(All Activities)
from the dropdown.
To display only the assets assigned to a specific situs, select the situs from the dropdown.
  • If you want all assets for all situses available for selection, select
    All Situs
    from the dropdown.
  • If you want all assets that aren't assigned to any situs available for selection, select
    No Situs
    from the dropdown.
Display
Use the checkboxes next to the association titles to determine the columns that are displayed in the Assets available to print pane. Selecting and/or clearing these checkboxes doesn't affect the assets that are available to print asset labels for.
Association Value
A field displays for each association that maintains a list (that is, Group, Type, Location, Division, and any custom association that maintains a list).
Use these fields to limit the assets that are available in the Assets available to print pane.
  • To include all assets assigned to a particular association, select
    (All [association])
    from the dropdown.
  • To include only assets that are assigned to a particular association value, select that value from the dropdown.
  • To include all assets that aren't assigned to a particular association, select
    (No [association] association)
    from the dropdown. For example, if you want to include in the list all assets that aren't assigned to a location, select
    (No Location association)
    from the dropdown.
