CS Connect window

Use the CS Connect window to select the tasks to complete when you connect to our secure data centers.
In the
Purpose of connect
 group box, you can set switches to
Yes
to connect to our secure data centers to:
  • Download and apply updates
  • View user bulletins associated with the updates
  • Retrieve licenses
To open this window, select
Utilities
 then
CS Connect
.

Fields & buttons

Set this switch to
Yes
 to retrieve and apply available updates for the current Connect session. The switch defaults to
No
 for the next Connect session. For each action you want to perform each time you select the
Connect
 button, select the switch twice to set and lock it to
Yes
.
Set this switch to
Yes
 to retrieve the latest licenses for your firm. This is necessary only if, for example, you recently updated your license information to change the firm address or purchase an application with a CS Customer Service representative.
Select to manage communication settings for transmitting and receiving electronic files with your CS Professional Suite application.
Shows the selected method for connecting to our network of secure data centers. Select the
Communications
 button to change the selected method.
Select to place a call to our network of secure data centers and perform the actions marked in the
Purpose of Connect
 group box.
