Association Wizard Setup dialog

Use this dialog to set up or modify the default association values and asset class. The application will use these defaults based on the value that you choose for the primary association when entering asset data.
Once you have set up a primary association, a Wizard button appears to the right of that association field at the top of the Asset Detail dialog. When you choose an association value (by selecting the button), the application automatically enters any default association values and the asset class that you specified in this dialog.
To open this dialog, open the Asset List window, choose
Setup
 and then
Associations
, and select the Wizard Setup button.

Fields & buttons

All of the values you entered for the primary association are available from this drop-down list. You can use the Association Wizard to specify which values should be automatically enter for each of an asset's associations based on the value that you choose for the primary association.
Choose the association value for which you want to set up or modify the association values and asset class. You can also move through the association values using the navigation buttons to either side of this field.
Default association values to group box
Use these fields to specify which values should be entered for an asset's associations when the selected primary association value (shown in the field at the top of the dialog) is chosen for the asset.
Select this button to enter information in the fields in the Default association values to group box. Use these fields to assign default association values for each association based on the selected primary association value.
Select this button to accept changes you made in the Default association values to group box.
Default Method/Life Wizard asset class to group box
For each Method/Life Wizard type that the current client uses, choose the asset class for the primary association value that is selected in the field at the top of this dialog.
Select this button to enter information in the fields in the Default Method/Life Wizard asset class to group box. Use these fields to choose the asset class for the primary association value that is selected in the field at the top of the dialog.
Select this button to accept any changes you made in the Default Method/Life Wizard asset class to group box.
