Use this dialog to view an explanation of why the half-year or mid-quarter convention applies.

Select the Half-year FYI or the Mid-qtr FYI button in the Elect Section 179 dialog overview to open the MACRS Convention Information dialog.

Fields & buttons

Acquisition: Last 3 Months

Displays the total cost of assets for the MACRS mid-quarter test that were acquired in the client's last three months.

Acquisition: Total

Displays the total cost of assets for the MACRS mid-quarter test that were acquired in the client's current year.

Percentage: Last 3 Months

Displays the percentage of assets for the MACRS mid-quarter test that were acquired in the client's last three months.

Percentage: Total

Displays the percentage of assets for the MACRS mid-quarter test that were acquired in the client's current year.
