Mass Transfer > Enter Transfer Information window

Use this window to select the assets you want to include in this mass transfer.
The Enter Transfer Information window lists all the assets available for the mass transfer, according to the current focus criteria. You can focus the asset list according to any application-defined or custom associations that maintain lists using the Focus asset listing group box at the bottom of this window. To select an asset to include in the mass transfer, double-click an asset in the Assets available to select pane.
  • For new mass transfers:
     To open this window, select Continue in the Add Mass Transfer window. After you have selected all of the assets that belong to the current mass transfer, select the type of transfer and the activity or association to which you want to transfer the assets. The options available in the dropdown list depend on the selection in the
    Type of transfer
     field.
  • For existing mass transfers:
     To open this window, select the mass transfer in the Mass Transfer window, select the Edit button, and then select the Enter Transfer Information button. The selected mass transfer can be modified in this window.

Fields & buttons

This pane lists all the assets that are available for selection, according to the focus criteria. For example, you can focus the list to include only those assets that are assigned to a specific group and/or location using the Focus asset listing group box at the bottom of this window.
This pane lists the assets that have been selected for this mass transfer.
If you have set up associations for the assets, use the association fields in this group box to limit the number of assets that are available for selection.
  • To include all assets that are assigned to a particular association, select
    (All [association])
     from the dropdown list.
  • To include only assets that are assigned to a particular association value, select that value from the dropdown list.
  • To include all assets that have not been assigned to a particular association, select
    (No [association] association)
     from the dropdown list. For example, if you want to include in the list all assets that are not assigned to a location, select
    (No Location association)
     from the dropdown list.
Enter the date the selected assets were transferred.
Select either
Activity
 or an association (if you have set up associations for the selected assets) from the dropdown list to specify where the selected assets will be transferred. The selection in this field determines the options that are available in the
Transfer to
 dropdown list.
Select the activity or association to which you want to transfer the selected assets. The options that are available in this dropdown list are determined by the selection in the
Type of transfer
 field.
