ClientFlow administration

GoFileRoom ClientFlow integrates with NetClient CS to provide you and your clients with a secure, personalized, online portal that you can use to exchange documents, add financial data, and access applications.
You can use the GoFileRoom Onvio Client Center as an easy and convenient way for members of your firm to share documents with your clients. For more information, review Integrate GoFileRoom with Onvio Client Center.

Manage dropdown lists in GoFileRoom

To use ClientFlow properly, GoFileRoom lets you define the items that display in dropdown lists throughout the application.
We recommend you to set up a ClientFlow file section (Level 1) and an Uploaded Documents document type (Level 2). Most firms list the ClientFlow file section under the “Other” category.

Assign permissions

To let members of your firm to use ClientFlow to share GoFileRoom documents with clients, you need to assign publishing permissions in GoFileRoom. We recommend you to add a group and name it CF – Publishers group.

ClientFlow reports

To let staff members to view proper reports for ClientFlow at the group level, mark the
Allow access to reports
checkbox, then select
Reports
.
We recommend you to enable at least the following reports for those staff members:
  • ClientFlow User Mapping Report
  • Login History
  • Document Tracking

Specify index values

In the GoFileRoom database, you need to specify the default index values for the file section, document type, year (optional and not recommended), and period-end (optional and not recommended).
These index values will be used when a client uploads a document to the firm.
