Publish documents

GoFileRoom gives different options for publishing documents and making them available for your clients to download.

Classic Search

You can publish documents to client portals using the Classic Search:
  1. Select the checkbox for the documents you want to publish, right-click it, then select
    Publish Documents
    .
After you publish documents to a client’s portal, it will display a small subscript P next to the document type to indicate that the document was recently published.
You can configure columns in the list to include a column that indicates when documents have been published.
To change your column preferences:
  1. Select
    Options
     in the
    Classic Search
     screen, then select
    Set Preferences
    .

Document Search

In the Document Search screen, a checkmark is displayed in the Published column for documents that have been published.
You can select which columns to display by selecting
Settings
, then
Preferences
. Or you can drag and drop each column header to its location.
When clients publish documents to the firm using their NetClient CS portal, the document immediately uploads to GoFileRoom through the Clients drawer to the firm's mapped ClientFlow configuration. The suggested mapping is ClientFlow as the file section, with
Uploaded Documents
 as the document type.

GoFileRoom viewer

You can also publish documents from the GoFileRoom viewer.
To access the GoFileRoom viewer, select a document in the
Classic Search
 screen, or select
Preview
 next to a document in the
Document Search
 screen.
In the GoFileRoom viewer, you can select
Publish
 to publish the document.

ClientFlow reports

The ClientFlow User Mapping report lists all ClientFlow users, along with their email addresses and related clients.
The Login History report gives details about each time a user signs in to GoFileRoom. You can use this report to see which ClientFlow users have signed in at a given time.
The Document Tracking report includes information on either documents that were published or documents that were unpublished, depending on which option you select.
