    screen gives staff quick access to set up and view notifications for specific GoFileRoom events, ability to view
    My Work
    assignments, visit often accessed web pages, and access to previously viewed documents. To take advantage of these recently added features, add the
    [HOMEPAGE USERS]
    Group to your staff to make this functionality available.
  • You can check the status of your online applications and services (such as CS Connect and Virtual Office CS) via our Online Product Status page.
  • If you're looking for a specific update, but it doesn't appear in this bulletin, go to the GoFileRoom Alerts and notices article.
  • You have the option to receive email notifications that alert you to scheduled system maintenance and GoFileRoom updates. We recommend that all GoFileRoom customers opt in. To manage your Thomson Reuters email notifications, go to Managing your Thomson Reuters email subscriptions.

General

  • We've taken proactive steps to assure the Roll Forward overnight procedures are completing with success in response to recent stability issues.
  • We've made improvements within the
    Search Workflows
    and
    My Work
    screen to allow the column headers to remain in place while scrolling through the listed items on the screen.
  • Safeguards have been put in place when attempting to preview password protected PDF documents to not allow for the document to be viewed without permission. Proper messaging has been put in place when attempting to view secure documents.
  • An issue has been resolved with the
    Document Date
    displayed on documents, when in the
    Document Search
    screen. Date and Time is now displayed accordingly for the User's respective time zone.
  • Our team has made modifications to the username logic to now allow special characters such as: apostrophe, underscore, plus sign, and dash.
  • Records Managers had the ability to modify a Purge Policy that had already been sent for approval. This behavior has been corrected.
  • Do you set expiration dates on staff? We have made improvements to the disable user process and how it works when the
    Account expires on
    field is marked. We have restored the ability to set a future date via the GoFileRoom user interface and API.
  • We've improved the Administration experience by decreasing the time it takes to create a new or edit a User in GoFileRoom’s User management.
  • Do you use the
    Home
    screen and the
    My Recent Documents
    view? We've enhanced the
    Home
    page
    My Recent Documents
    view to include a new Date Range dropdown. This feature provides a quick and easy way for you to return to work that you recently were focused on. The options available to select are the following: Today, Yesterday, This week, Last week, This month, and Last month.

screen gives staff quick access to tasks, alerts and notifications, and
My Recent Documents
. We recommend providing access to these valuable resources to help your team access important work and navigate GoFileRoom with greater efficiencies. Action may be required if the feature is not available to your team. To take advantage of these recently added features, add the

Group to your User permissions to make this functionality available.

FirmFlow

When setting up information fields in FirmFlow, we understand what goes into managing and ordering your lists. We have enhanced the
Manage FirmFlow
,
Information Fields
screen to be configured globally in Alphabetical or Logical order. This feature will help put order to lists within the information fields.

API and Automation

Want to do more with your GoFileRoom data? Firms are investing in their digital transformation today and letting technology take over routine or otherwise manual tasks. We encourage you to visit the Thomson Reuters Developer Portal and register. This will give you access to APIs and resources that will drive new opportunities for your firm. API enhancements and issues addressed on this release

FirmFlow API endpoints
Resolved items:
  • We've corrected scenarios where the
    v2/Documents/WorkpaperInfo
    endpoint was intermittently not returning the expected data.
  • We've improved the messaging when the File Section or Document Type is incorrect when using the
    /api/v1/documents
    endpoint.
  • Reports of endpoints making multiple requests to retrieve parameters and resulting in error code 400 have been resolved.
